In this season of forgiving and forgetting it really behooves us to remember what really matters most. Time to rethink our lives and our loves. Review the song on our blog, "Think it Over". A big message, simply said...think it over.

Behind The Scene!
Off the scene? No, behind the scene is a better word. Searching for a better way to support my old love, Leap Over Walls Music. I've discovered a new one, or at least uncovered a new one. For the last year I've been writing screenplays. One called, Level The Playing Field describes the unique phases of love a young boy lives through as he becomes a man. Another is call, Unbeknownst. This one has a supernatural flair embracing love, drama and comedy.
Encouraged by the story I wrote called Displaced --turned into a screenplay by Nate Zen Sapien (In his screenplay book called The Zen Cookbook), I began to develop the ideas playing around in my head. My kids think they're pretty good. Here's hoping some producer/director thinks so too.
Nate Zen Sapien, who is an up and coming film maker in his own right, asked me to write some music for his short film, The Parc, which I did. I called it Coco's Song -Prelude, theme and ending called, Dying Bird. It captures the mood of escapism. Though only the prelude is used, the rest includes words both of love and a need to be free. I consider myself to be an inspirational song writer but I can see this song being played by pop and rock groups--Sensitive, yet explosive.
The main focus still is recording and publishing Leap Over Walls Music. I truly believe this music is to be given to the world, and with the right voices and musicians it will be.

Think It Over
If silence is golden then I'm pure gold, hahaha. However, we've been active behind the scenes. Please enjoy singing along with us on Think It Over. The words will encourage you to "Dump your personal baggage". Keep a smile on your face and love in your heart. Our intent is to let you know God is a great booster, lifting you over any obstacle...any wall.
Have I got a witness!
Bye for now,
Lee

Reminiscing
I'm reminded of a young lady in our church community running up to me after church service gushing with the news of her upcoming wedding in August. "Miss Lee, I want you to write a song especially for my wedding! Say yes, please!" I was so flattered that she wanted me to be a part of her most precious event. That was years ago (See A Special Love in Leap Over Walls, pg.11)
A Special Love
By Lee Waire
A special love in your life,
A special light in your eyes
A special touch, when you touch,
With special meaning.
And when your glances chance to meet--
It's "Hello" so sweet
The angels shyly look away...and smile
This special, special love overflows in your heart.
A special love in your life!
Yes, we've heard.
Congratulations!
We've stopped what we're doing to wish you
the best, and march with the chorus,
singing, God Bless! God Bless!
Joining our hands, and our hearts
All on one accord, we pray.
God keep you in perfect harmony
Together, always remembering--
That you care, that you share a special, a very special love!
Together!
Always remembering!
How much you care--
How much you share--
A special, a very special, love.
Something new...
Just recently my son Nathan aka Nate Zen Sapien, asked me to compose some music for his film project, which I did. The name of the composition is Coco's Song. What is too hard for God? Oh, that sounds like a song too (Smile). By golly, it is a song (LOW pg.187).
What Is Too Hard For God?
By Lee Waire
What is too hard for God?
What is too hard for God?
What is too hard for God?
Ask yourself, "What is too hard for Him?"
The answer wipes away all tears!
The answer wipes away all tears!
The answer wipes away all tears!
Ask yourself, "What is it He can't do?"
Day fades, at last, into night--
But what is night but day without light!
Strong shoulders bend as if no hope,
Ah, but Faith stands and shouts, "I know"
(I know, that I know, that I know, that
I know)
Nothing's too hard for God (There's nothing
too hard for God)
Nothing's too hard for God (There's nothing
too hard for God)
Nothing's too hard for God!
Ask yourself, "What is it He can't do?"
I tell myself--Hold on!
Hold, if you hold alone.
Feel the earth shaking beneath my feet--
I say, I know He's got his hand on me (Know,
that I know, that I know, that I know!)
Love You,
Lee

February's Song - Satisfying Me
We host an eclectic collection of inspirational music. Music that embraces the feel of blues, of western as well as the jubilant gospel we are all familiar with.
The song SATISFYING ME is a spiritual message clothed in a wrap of bluesy chords and deep introspective thought. Read and see if the message rings true for you...
SATISFYING ME
by Lee Waire
To myself I will be true
I know it sounds selfish, but I'm telling you,
I'd rather have my soul at ease.
Then, my mind at peace will be, satisfying me,
I must follow inward paths for I hear a higher call.
To pursue another way would just go against my soul.
So, if I travel all alone, then it's alone I'll happily be.
For following Christ is oh so good, and it satisfies me.
When I walk the way I should,
and talk the way I should,
I sleep all night till dawn's early light,
like a baby would.
There's sweet satisfaction just calling His name.
I made my choice.
It's God I choose!
All else can fall away.
To myself, I will be true,
Between you and me, it's the best thing to do.
I'd rather have my soul at ease,
Then,my mind at peace will be--
Satisfying me, satisfying me, satisfying me...
Satisfying me!

Who is my favorite singer?
It has been asked of me, who is my favorite singer? Though many names come to mind, the greatest voices I've heard are those that have blessed me personally. I remember the voice of a very small woman with an even smaller voice singing praise during service. The church became still as a mouse to hear her.
I also remember my mother singing to my little brother when he was fretful and could not sleep. Most of all I remember a minister singing quietly behind closed curtains in the Emergency Room to his dying, elderly church member. Later I commented on the beautiful hymns he was singing which reminded me of my childhood. He smiled wryly after I commented on the beautiful songs he choose to sing. He told me, "My wife asked me as I was leaving, Honey, don't sing"
Who is my favorite singer, I don't know, that is a hard question. Maybe it's the voice singing within my own soul.

If you are interested in the lyrics to this and other songs they are available in one book called Leap Over Walls and can be bought online at bn.com and amazon.com
I Make My Way With A Song
by Lee Waire
I make my way with a song!
I get my strength from just singing---
God gives me a song,
I hum it all day long.
I make my way with a song!
If the song I sing is not lifting,
Then the song I sing is not true.
Well, I flip it over, start out brand new.
Cause I make my way with a song!
I make my way with a song!
I get my strength from just singing.
God is my song!
I sing Him all day long.
I make my way with a song!
God has a song you can join in.
It's the universal song of love and praise.
If you take this song, and sing it all day long,
He'll make your way, yeh!
He'll make your way, yeh!
He'll make your way with that song.
I make my way with a song!
I get my strength from just singing.
God is my song!
I sing Him all day long.
I make my way with a song!
